There are no aliens, but the universe is full of people. Other Earths are out there. Some are younger, and some are older. Unique individuals populate them all, making unique decisions that lead to unique civilizations. Amena Wharry wants to visit each one. She has no idea what she’s getting into. She can’t wait to find out.
Volume 1: Where Are the Little Green Men? contains the first two novellas in this episodic science fiction series. Amena and her space-faring team of explorers learn that life out there is much like life here, and just as unusual. In the first episode, “Liberty or Death,” the team faces hi-tech tyrants who have already achieved global domination. Then, in “The End of an Earth,” they travel to a world that has less time than they think.
Earths in Space. They’re already out there. You just haven’t discovered them yet.
I’ve read at least a few pages of over 3000 free downloads, mostly to rate how far up in my reading stack I should place them. Once every thousand or so books, I’ll encounter a tome with brilliant opening sentences, a spectacular first page, then a rippingly engaging story, and my whole reading stack method goes out the window.
Second Hand Wand Shoppe is one of those great books. – Ed Pegg
Tales from a Second Hand Wand Shoppe (Book 1):
They were the Best of Gnomes, They were the Worse of Gnomes.
Two Gnomes – Grimbledung and Drimblerod- are just trying to get along in life when their worlds collide. Drimblerod runs a moderately reputable Second Hand Wand Shop that does pretty well at moving inventory. Grimbledung runs a disreputable Second Hand Wand Wagon that he moves regularly to avoid the authorities.
Everything changes when they combine their talents:
City ordinances are broken. Neighbors are annoyed. The Constable becomes involved. Even the Magician’s Guild sends over some Enforcers to deal with them. Things are looking up for the Gnomes!
From multi-headed travelers looking for a good time, to Half-Orcs just trying to obey their mates, everyone seems to come to the Second Hand Wand Shoppe to either buy or sell a wand. Along for the ride are a neurotic Jousting Dummy, an immortal (so far) Rat, a Trolless who runs the Tavern and Restaurant across the street, a Dwarf next door with (alleged) Mob ties, and the Head Mistress of the local School of Magic (with definite Mob ties).
Did we mention the Halfling Army that’s out for blood? They’ll have to deal with them as well!
Bask in this illustrated 96,000+ word adventure! You’ll laugh! You’ll cry.
You’ll never be the same.

“ The best, for me, is that twist at the end that makes it scarier to reconsider all zombie movies I have ever watched. ” George Thuperdale (amazon reviewer)
I started reading this book and couldn’t put it down. It is very relatable, intriguing and the sex scenes are incredible. I highly recommend this to anyone who has had a close guy friend in the past or present where you always wondered if there could be something more than friendship. I smiled throughout this book. Made me giggle a lot too. Loved it! – katie daniar

The only way to have a friend is to be one…especially between the sheets…
When neurotically challenged and unlucky in love Megan Daniels is propositioned by her life-long friend Ben Romano with a coin toss (heads, they sleep together, tails, they don’t) the night before they are about to attend a destination wedding, she drunkenly accepts his challenge. But when Megan wakes up the next morning with a bad hang-over and Ben in her bed, she is more than mortified. It isn’t until the tropical heat begins to ignite emotions Megan never believed or thought she could possibly have, when she starts to question if risking their friendship is the answer to finding true love.
A debut novel in the New Adult genre, BETWEEN FRIENDS faces one girl’s struggle between the fine lines of friendship and love and the risk of opening up her heart to the possibility of forever.

To stop Heather from getting herself killed trying to prove her parents’ innocence, Becca hunts for proof of their guilt. She doesn’t expect to find evidence that leaves her questioning everything she thought she knew about the dissidents… and about her mother.
When she risks her life to save a dissident, she learns her mother isn’t the only one with secrets – and the plot she uncovers will threaten the lives of the people she loves most. For Becca, it’s no longer just a choice between risking execution and ignoring the regime’s crimes; she has to decide whose life to save and whose to sacrifice.
It’s easy to be a hero when you can save the world, but what about when all you can do is choose how you live in it? THE TORTURER’S DAUGHTER is a story about ordinary teenage life amidst the realities of living under an oppressive regime… and the extraordinary courage it takes to do what’s right in a world gone wrong.

Being the Crown Prince means responsibility, but being a single father can be more responsibility than one man can handle. Thus Crown Prince Zhaiden Sinclair finds himself looking for a child psychologist to help his Heir Matthieu deal with the absence of his mother Colette, who has been barred from the lives of her children since their ugly divorce.
Enter Lady Renee Delacorte, whose expertise was driven by her own childhood trauma. When Zhaiden’s desire to court Renee is met with her reticence to pursue a relationship, he spends inordinate amounts of time to win her love, despite the press of his political duties. As the enemy planet of Javonia causes more galactic upheaval, Zhaiden strives to keep the peace without jeopardizing his family, his Empire, or his budding romance with the exquisite Renee, already dear to his precious sons.
Just when the Javonian troubles seem almost impossible to negotiate, Zhaiden’s ex-wife proves enemies closer to home can devastate an Empire as surely as any war. Can Zhaiden convince Renee to marry him after Colette’s treasonous attack? Will Renee’s nurturing ways turn her away from dealing with the traitors in the way the Imperial Family must, by execution? And can a lady who has never experienced true social pressure find the courage and sheer gumption to become the next Empress of the Sinclair Demesnes?
This science fiction romance is the fourth book of the seven-part To Be Sinclair series. The saga continues with FEALTY and its companion volume ROYALTY, which detail the romances and political struggles of the Prince Second and Crown Prince of the Sinclair Demesnes. A few scenes describe sexually explicit behavior.
