ON A REVIEW SITE:
I must admit, I was a little concerned about this book. Starting on number six?! Anyone who follows my blog should know two things:
1. I LOVE series.
2. I am a stickler when it comes to reading them in the correct order.
That being said, I am glad I decided to go against my instinct on this one. What a great book! Even though it was technically number six, it was more than fine to read as a standalone.
At first all of the characters were a little confusing, but before I knew it they were all *close friends*.
Watching the three siblings (Princess Anne, Prince Christian & Prince Brian) try to find balance between love, friendship, and responsibility was heartbreaking at times. I couldn’t help but feel sorry for them.
Can they find any love and loyalty when there is so much on the line?
I definitely can’t wait to read more books in the “To Be Sinclair” series!
How dangerous is it to be Imperial?
Princess Anne Sinclair is unsure if she is in love, while her brothers Prince Christian and Prince Brian have a hard time finding ladies they can trust, and their strenuous duties keep them from really exploring their love lives. When Anne, a stargate scientist, is caught in a space battle, she does the right thing, but at what cost?
Meanwhile, Christian fights to save the Stargate Fleet while Brian investigates the treason that led to the attack. Even as they celebrate Anne’s wedding, they reel under further treasons until the unthinkable happens….
What price must they pay, in pain and blood and freedom, in order to maintain their security? And how do they find spouses who can tolerate the demands of an Imperial lifestyle?
This science fiction romance is the sixth book of the seven-part To Be Sinclair series. The saga continues with DYNASTY and its companion volume LOYALTY, which detail the romances and political struggles of the youngest Imperial siblings of the Sinclair Demesnes. A few scenes describe sexually explicit behavior.
