“ Another Space in Time is an interesting and somewhat surprising story that I really enjoyed. ”– Tahlia Newland
This is a Writersworld paperback that the author categorises as speculative science. The novel tracks the first 18 days of Rodwell Richards “rebirth” on a planet with an earth-like environment, and a very similar human population. Reborn at the chronological age at which his life was ended on Earth he has to rapidly come to terms with a new life. Accussed of murder Rodwell is soon on the run from the police, and terrorists alike. The struggle to survive in this unfamiliar society has parallels with the sometimes extreme difficulties of immigrants across any state and cultural boundaries. “Another Space in Time” is a reflection on where we might sit as humans in the scheme of the Multiverse, without I hope treading too carelessly on any religious or cultural sensibilities, but it is first and foremost just a robust adventure set somewhere beyond the fringe of the rational space we know.
This reader loved it!
I highly recommend this novel to anyone who likes to question philosophical concepts. The author is an intelligent gentleman who knows how to give us food for thought in many ways. I love the details he weaves of a planet that may just exist between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter, but is probably in a different dimension where the sun just switches off at night. I also liked the love story that was intertwined in the writing that is without any blemishes or imperfections. The author makes us wonder about life after death. Another Space in Time is a very refreshing and interesting science fiction novel. I hope you read it when you get a chance and learn about the main character’s rebirth.
